We will meet on Thurs, June 12 from 12-1pm on Zoom, to discuss the novel: ‘James’ by Percival Everett.
The book- ‘James’ by Percival Everett, retells Mark Twain’s book ‘Adventures of Huckleberry Finn’ (originally published in 1884), and is divided into three parts. The first two parts largely follow the original narrative, while the third part diverges significantly. The book can also be viewed in terms of its two main characters, with a focus on Jim’s perspective and experience. We will meet on Thurs, June 12, 2025 on Zoom at Noon to discuss Parts 1 & 2, and on Thurs, July 10, 2025 on Zoom at Noon to discuss Part 3 of the book.
