The State of the Downtown annual benchmarking report provides timely, objective, and accurate data about downtown Madison. The metrics in the report focus on aspects of downtown development and investment, housing, residents, quality of life, safety, office market, employment, education, retail and restaurants, tourism and attractions, and mobility. The report is used to better understand the current state of our downtown and to help determine priorities and actions steps to sustain and grow a healthy and vital downtown Madison.
