Provide Feedback on State Street Campus Garage/Hawthorne Court Percent for Art Project

The City of Madison has received proposals for public art at the State Street Campus Garage/Hawthorne Court, and now members of the community are invited to provide feedback on the proposed designs and hear from the artists at an upcoming community meeting. The proposals, community survey, and information about the virtual presentations can be found at cityofmadison.com/arts.

5:30pm, Monday, February 23, 2026
Artists will present their design proposals & answer questions. Members of the public must register to attend. After registering, they will receive a confirmation email containing information on how to join the meeting. It will be recorded and posted to the City’s website Tuesday morning.

12pm, Monday, March 16, 2026
The State Street Campus Garage/Hawthorne Court Ad Hoc Public Art Committee will discuss, score, and make a recommendation to the Madison Arts Commission.

5:30pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2026
The Madison Arts Commission will review the Ad Hoc Committee’s recommendation and make a recommendation to the Madison Common Council.
