Literacy Network’s Reading Between the Wines
Celebrate a year of “Learning Together” at Literacy Network’s 12th Annual Reading Between the Wines on Thursday, April 28 from 5:30 – 7:00pm at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center (330 Femrite Dr. in Monona)!
Don’t miss this year’s in-person celebration of Dane County adults who are improving their literacy and reaching their personal goals! Each $50 ticket includes an outdoor social time of hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting, followed by an indoor program of stories from learners, volunteers, donors, and staff. Adult learners will reflect on this year’s event theme of “Learning Together” and share inspiring stories about their dreams and goals, including becoming U.S. citizens, earning their GEDs or HSEDs, securing improved job opportunities, and supporting their children’s health and educational needs. Event attendees will also receive a copy of 2022’s compilation of personal learner stories, “Learning Together”!
This event will also be live streamed for guests who prefer to attend remotely. Registration is required for all attendees and capacity is limited. Guests are also invited to register for the event’s online auction, live April 14 through April 28. All registration is available at literacynetwork.schoolauction.net/readingbetweenthewines22/. In-person registration closes April 21 at 5pm; virtual registration closes April 27 at 5pm.
Live event COVID-19 policy: For everyone’s comfort and safety, all in-person attendees must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination upon entry. Guests are asked to wear a mask during the indoor portion of the program. Any current public health Madison and Dane County guidelines will be followed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
