Bikes for Kids Wisconsin Participating in The Big Share

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin is participating in The Big Share through Community Shares of Wisconsin now through March 3rd! The Big Share is a fundraising effort for nonprofits all over the state. Funds donated will support their 2026 Bike Giveaway Program where they are set to give away over 1,400 bikes in the next two months. They’ve set a big goal of raising $20,000 because repairing this volume of bikes is labor intensive and costly work. If you’ve taken your bike in for a tuneup recently, you experienced this firsthand.
They’re asking for help in the following ways:
- Donate if you can!
- Set up a Peer-to-Peer fundraising page so your friends can support your efforts to raise funds for them. Just click the “Fundraise” button on their Big Share page.
- Set up an office fundraiser!
- Share their posts!
- Tell your friends!
How they’ll allocate donations:
- $25 is the cost of one helmet.
- Their bike recipients receive free repair services for one year at a cost of $75.
- It costs them $150 to giveaway a bike to change the life of one individual!
