WWBIC is hiring a Program Assistant and Regional Project Director.
Program Assistant
This part time (16-20 hours per week) position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support for the educational programs and services provided by WWBIC. The Program Assistant will complete data entry of client information in our database and support activities related to promotion and marketing of classes. In addition, the Assistant will support class & event logistics, enrollment, material preparation and collection of required documents and may attend education events to complete registration of clients and introduce the instructor. The Assistant will provide back up for the front desk/phone.
The position requires 1-3 years of solid program or administrative support experience, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and professionalism. Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and have strong MS Office (particularly Microsoft Word and Excel) skills. Flexibility, a positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks is vital. Bi-Lingual skills and Database experience is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license required as position may require local travel.

Regional Project Director
This full-time leadership position is responsible for overall coordination and expansion of WWBIC’s business education and financial awareness programs in the south central region of Wisconsin. The Project Director is accountable to meet and exceed program deliverables and client satisfaction
The Project Director will direct education and outreach initiatives to ensure effective outcomes in the region, implement programs, and supervise and coach staff with positive influence. In addition, he/she will serve as WWBIC’s liaison on partner/funder/co-provider teams to better serve clients. The Director will develop & expand local/regional partnerships, while assisting in development activities through identifying leads, attending meetings, giving presentations and providing localized information.
The Project Director will work with other WWBIC regions to ensure strong cross-collaborations, foster process improvement, advance our statewide volunteer program, coordinate the scheduling/distribution of outreach materials, and work collaboratively on social media strategies.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in economic development or private sector business along with direct program management and supervisory background. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse audiences, both in groups and one-on-one. The ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours and travel throughout the region is required. Valid drivers license & proof of insurance required. Working knowledge of micro-enterprise and small business in preferred.
