Please join the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce for a Community Engagement event to discuss Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zones (MSEEZ) and the advancement of Military Spouse Employment in Wisconsin!
This first-of-its-kind event for Active/Guard/Reserve military spouses is your chance to begin the transition from “Military Spouse Friendly” to “Military Spouse Ready”!
You are cordially invited to attend the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s MSEEZ program focused on serving military spouses. MSEEZs are designed to foster collaboration among local stakeholders and work to identify opportunities as well as barriers to entry for military spouses seeking meaningful employment.
The program is being led by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and the event is being hosted by the Madison Chapter of Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commece (WVCC).
Business and civic leaders, leading companies/ employers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit partners, small business owners, sponsors, active duty service members, veterans, and – most importantly – military spouses are being personally invited to the event and program/workshop to identify and reveal issues and opportunities to serve this important demographic.
