Winter Wonder Weeks at Madison Children’s Museum
The Madison Children’s Museum (MCM) is bringing back their tradition of special hours and programming for the time school-age kids are on winter break. Enjoy Winter Wonder Weeks at MCM, December 17–31. MCM will be open 9–4 daily, except for Mondays (Dec 20 & 27), Christmas Eve/Day (Dec 24 & 25), and New Year’s Day (Jan 1). Also, note that they’ll be closed January 3–7 for annual winter maintenance.
They strongly recommend reserving advance tickets to guarantee entry during busier times, including during Winter Wonder Weeks. MCM is still operating at reduced capacity due to the pandemic. When they near capacity, they will suspend selling walk-up tickets until the museum is less busy, which usually takes a few hours. Pro tip: Plan your visit for the afternoon, when they’re less busy!
MCM education experts have put together special programs and activities during Winter Wonder Weeks. All programs are drop-in, free with museum admission, and subject to availability.
