Utilize Your Volunteer Time Off
Volunteer Time Off (VTO) is a paid benefit that lets employees take time during the work week to support causes and organizations they care about. If your business provides VTO as benefit, consider using it to join for Day of Caring, and encourage your colleagues to do the same!
Parking
Free parking is available in the Madison Marriott West parking lot. Please enter via the Conference Center entrance. Guests can also be dropped off at this entrance which provides direct, ground-level access to the event and check-in area.
Event Accessibility
They are committed to hosting inclusive, accessible events and welcome all individuals, including people with disabilities, to fully participate. If you have an accommodation request (such as a seated volunteer opportunity, mobility or sensory considerations, a quiet volunteer space, etc.) or questions about accessibility, please contact Jenny Bravener, Community Engagement and Marketing Program Manager, at jenny.bravener@uwdc.org or 608-246-4367.
To help plan, they encourage requests by 7/20 so they have time to consider how best to support your experience. While they will do their best to meet individual needs, they may not be able to fulfill every request. If that’s the case, they’ll follow up to explore possible alternatives.
