StartingBlock Madison & Summit Credit Union Fellowship for Women Entrepreneurs

Summit Credit Union and StartingBlock Madison invite you to apply to a 1-year fellowship to plan and launch your business. This women-only program is designed to help you bring your dream storefront to life. This program focuses on the core business skills and financial literacy you need to open and sustain a successful business. The program starts with a 12-week accelerator style bootcamp followed by 9 months of structured content and accountability check-ins.

Summit is committed to helping everyone achieve financial security — especially women. One powerful way to build wealth is by starting and growing a business, and this Fellowship is a means of supporting your success.

What you’ll get:

• Business Basics & Strategy: Hands-on workshops and one-on-one mentorship will provide you with the foundational tools to open and operate your business, from developing a business plan to finding your ideal location.
• Financial Literacy & Funding Insights: Summit’s expert financial education and one-on-one coaching help you gain essential knowledge for your business and personal goals, as one impacts the other. A holistic approach to your success and wellbeing!
• Community Support: Connect with like-minded women and mentors who are as committed as you are. Build a network of strong support, respect, and care, empowering you to thrive in your entrepreneurial journey.
• Desk at StartingBlock: Members will get a one year flex-desk membership to StartingBlock Madison, allowing you a space to come work and focus on building your business.

This accelerator is designed for women who:

• Are passionate about opening a storefront or ecommerce business and are eager to learn about business basics and financial literacy
• Are ready to transform their idea into a tangible business with the support of a like-minded community
• Want to grow in an environment that values honesty, equality, and respect
• Are looking for mentorship and tools to create a business that will serve the community and make a positive impact
• Are comfortable sharing their business stories, as well as the progress and insights they gain from the Fellowship, with the community through Summit’s advertising campaigns.

When: Tuesdays, February 4th through April 29th (excluding spring break)
