‘Shine On Madison’ Kicks Off the Season of Lights Downtown

Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID) invites the entire community downtown for the return of ‘Shine On Madison’. Shine On Madison is a six-week community event that showcases Madison’s extraordinary downtown retailers, restaurants, nightlife and cultural institutions. This year’s event runs November 18, 2023 – January 8, 2024.

The event includes:

• Seasonal Lighting Ceremony, Lisa Link Peace Park (November 24)
• Live Music at Top of State (November 24, November 25, and November 26)
• FREE Downtown Madison Holiday Shopping Trolley (November 24, 25, December 2, 9 and 16)
• Family Photo Op (November 24 – November 26)
• Window Decorating Competition (November 18 – December 18)
• Cookie Walk (December 10)
• STORYWALK® (November 24 – December 24)
• Downtown Holiday Carolers (December 2, 9, and 16)
