Sand County Foundation is Seeking a Financial Accounting Professional

Sand County Foundation is seeking a financial accounting professional in the Madison, WI area to help strengthen their organization by serving on their Audit Committee.

SCF’s Audit Committee’s charge is to hire the organization’s audit firm, and review and recommend approval or rejection of the annual draft audited financial statements and related communications. The committee is comprised of three independent non-board members and four board members, and is chaired by retired McGladrey CPA, Tom Johnson – an avid fisherman and longtime friend of the Foundation.

The Committee typically meets twice annually – in the winter to approve retention of an audit firm, and in the spring to review the draft audited financial statements.

Committee members have opportunities to participate in SCF’s programs and meetings, and to interact with staff and board members. SCF is committed to being a fun and rewarding organization as well as a highly respected and financially-sound institution.
