Having been quietly tucked away in a remote Wisconsin town, the coins will certainly attract eager bidders, especially the 1879 $4 gold Stella. Featuring the flowing hair obverse design by Charles E. Barber, this $4 gold Stella is one of only 425 minted. The coin carries a pre-sale auction estimate of $90,000 – 110,000.
