McKenzie Workforce Development Center Groundbreaking

Construction on the McKenzie Workforce Development Center will start on April 18th!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County and Madison Area Builders Association are addressing a critical need in the Madison and Dane County area; to provide economic opportunities for young adults to access resources, programming, and support systems that will mitigate achievement gaps, create economic opportunities, and generate transformational change for families in South Central Wisconsin.

By creating pathways for young adults to gain certifications or on-the-job training such as apprenticeships that result in quality jobs, this new programming from The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County will strengthen individuals, their families, and area businesses at a time when there is a shortage of trained skilled trades workers.
