Maxwell Street Days 2023

The 46th annual Maxwell Street Days Summer Sidewalk Sale will take place in downtown Madison, WI from Thursday, July 13 to Sunday, July 16. Downtown Madison businesses are excited for the return of the sidewalk sale tradition taking place, as usual, along the full length of State Street.

Thursday, July 13, 9am-6pm
Friday, July 14, 9am-6pm
Saturday, July 15, 9am-6pm
Sunday, July 16, 10am-5pm

Enjoy deep discounts, expanded outdoor café dining experiences, live music, special activities and much more as you walk State Street. Maxwellstreetdays.org offers a complete list of participants and entertainment for this year’s event.

State Street will become a pedestrian mall for this event and therefore will be closed to bus and bike traffic.

Maxwell Street Days is organized by the Greater State Street Business Association (GSSBA) with support from Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID). GSSBA membership is open to all businesses and property owners located on State Street, the Capitol Square, and one block off in either of these two areas.
