Madison LakeWay Partners Hire Jayme Powers as CEO
Madison LakeWay Partners (formerly Friends of Nolen Waterfront) has hired its first CEO to oversee the public-private partnership with the City of Madison that will transform the Lake Monona waterfront.
Powers comes to Madison by way of Seattle, New York, and Philadelphia, where she gained significant experience in start-ups and as a creative strategist in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Powers served as the Executive Producer and Chief Operating Officer for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, led the teams to open a theme park in New Jersey and a museum in Times Square, and worked in various capacities within the theater world.
Powers starts her new position on November 4th and will work out of the City of Madison Parks Department offices in Olin Park. Madison LakeWay Partners will host a series of events for the public to meet Powers over the coming months. Powers will be available for interviews after November 11th.
