Madison BCycle: Thanks Health Care Workers & First Responders with Free Memberships
Madison BCycle offers free month memberships to health care workers and first responders to recognize and thank front-line health care workers and first responders during the uncertain times of COVID-19. Madison BCycle is offering a free month-long membership, which includes unlimited 60-minute trips. Madison BCycle, which continues to operate as an essential transportation service, has increased its cleaning protocols to provide a safe way for Madison residents to continue to commute when needed and get outside for fresh air and exercise.
“We want to truly thank all of our healthcare professionals for all that you’ve done and all that you will do in the coming weeks and months, keeping our community safe,” said Madison BCycle Operations Manager Erik Elmer. “Bike sharing is great for commuting to work or getting outside as a recreation option while practicing safe social distancing. This is a small way that we at Madison BCycle can show our appreciation.”
Health care workers and first responders can redeem their free month from April 1-15 by visiting https://bit.ly/ride-free. There they will enter their name and email address associated with the health care organization for which they work, and Madison BCycle will send them a promo code to redeem a free month’s membership.
Riders can read more about Madison BCycle’s enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols on the Madison BCycle website (http://www.madisonbcycle.com). Find station and bike availability on the website or by downloading the BCycle app (http://bcycle.com/app).
