Laura Gallagher, Founder and President of The Creative Company in downtown Madison, will represent Wisconsin at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit in Washington, D.C., on October 29–30, 2025. The nation’s largest gathering of small business owners will unite 2,200 entrepreneurs to advocate for small business priorities on Capitol Hill. “When women build strong businesses, they build strong communities,” said Gallagher, a 2017 program graduate. She founded The Creative Company in 1989 and leads an award-winning PR and marketing agency recognized as Dane County’s Small Business of the Year and SBA Women in Business Champion.
