Isthmus Seeking Donations to Support Local News

Hopefully everyone has seen Isthmus and its in-depth, informed, independent journalism return to downtown Madison. They’re a lean-and-mean 501(c)(3) nonprofit with five staffers, publishing a newspaper on the first Thursday of every month. And right now, they’re in the final weeks of a critical year-end fundraising drive, hoping to qualify for matching funds from the Institute for Nonprofit News and a group of Madison leaders.
