Six emerging companies will compete in the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s 11th annual Pressure Chamber live pitch contest on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. at the Majestic Theatre. The program takes place during Forward Fest, Wisconsin’s largest technology and entrepreneurship festival.

The six Pressure Chamber finalists – CranioSure, Cubby, Maize, SideShift, SixLine Semiconductor and Terra Bioforge – will pitch in front of national investors and a live audience. The winning company, decided based on a combination of judges’ scoring and audience votes, receives the coveted “golden suitcase,” representing a reserved spot in the Chamber’s exclusive Greater Madison startup meetings with top Silicon Valley investment firms this fall.
