Forward Theater Company presents the Wisconsin premiere of ‘Clyde’s’ by Lynn Nottage! This flavor-bomb of a comedy is one of America’s most produced plays in 2023-24, and they are excited to bring it to Madison. Forward is proud to be the resident professional theater company at Overture Center for the Arts.

The story: Just outside of Reading, PA, a truck stop restaurant offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a shot at redemption, as they find purpose and inspiration in their shared quest to create the perfect sandwich. Even as the shop’s callous owner tries to keep them under her thumb, the staff members are given purpose and permission to dream.
