Capitol Bank is currently hiring a full-time Treasury Management Officer at their Madison banking location. This position is responsible for growing the bank’s core deposits through referrals, self-sourced efforts and partnering with the Retail and Commercial Lending teams.
Identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury management services and products to both existing and prospective business clients independently and jointly with Commercial Lenders and Retail teams. Developing new relationships (individual, commercial, municipal) through referral and business development efforts. Selling of Treasury Management/ cash management products and services to new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients. Developing relationships with potential and existing private banking clients. Coordinating the sale and implementation of the following services: ACH origination, business remote deposit, business online banking. Cross selling of all bank’s products and services through referrals.
The ideal candidate will have a college or business-related degree in finance or the banking industry. 5+ years relevant work experience and a strong aptitude for developing new business relationships. Familiarity with cash management and account analysis. Treasury management operations experience, including experience in electronic products, such as online banking, remote deposit, ACH origination and positive pay services. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks effectively and in a timely manner. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong computer skills / proficient use of Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word. Web & web-based provider websites.
