Capitol Bank is hiring for a Senior Vice President (SVP) / Senior Lender. This position is responsible for the management and growth of both an individual and bank-wide commercial loan portfolio, a team of lenders and the commercial loan administrators. This position also works closely with the credit, treasury management, loan documentation, loan servicing and deposit operations departments.
As a leader at Capitol Bank, the Senior Lender shall actively manage and engage in personal and team business development efforts. They will meet with clients and assess their needs by describing the benefits and features of the Bank’s products and services to ensure maximum cross selling and account retention. The Senior Lender will manage an assigned loan portfolio by analyzing and assessing extensions of credit in existence, in addition to underwriting any new credit requests. This position will be accountable for the initial analysis of clients’ financial data for the Bank’s loan portfolio and ensuring updated information is on file.
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or economics. Previous banking experience preferred. 10 years experience working in a commercial lending environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills.
