Cap Times Idea Fest 2021: What will downtown Madison look like in the future?
On Saturday, September 18 from 3:15-4:15pm, a live session titled, “What will downtown Madison look like in the future?” will be happening in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union as part of the Cap Times Ideas Fest. The session will be moderated by Jason Ilstrup, DMI and will include panelists: Jessica Cavazos, Latino Chamber of Commerce, Ellie Westman Chin, Destination Madison, Mayor Satya Rhodes Conway, City of Madison, and Amy Supple, The Edgewater. The Cap Times Idea Fest is taking place September 13-18, 2021 and will once again cover topics relevant to your life and the future of Wisconsin. The event this year will be a hybrid. There will be free virtual, on-demand sessions posting early in the week — plus live episodes of Cap Times Live and Cooking with the Cap Times — ending with two days of live sessions at UW-Madison’s Memorial Union on Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18.
