Bikes for Kids Wisconsin: Bike Giveaway Event

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin has spent the winter refurbishing thousands of bikes and is now ready to start distributing them just in time for riding season. They’ll be hosting their in-person bike giveaway event on Saturday, April 5th at Bikes for Kids Wisconsin, 354 Coyier Lane, Madison, WI 53713 and are seeking 80 volunteers to help.

If interested, visit the website for complete details. Kids ages 8+ are welcome with adults. There are plenty of roles for high school students in need of volunteer hours like running bikes from the warehouse to the giveaway site. Helmet fitting, registration, bike shopping, wayfinding, are all needs. Two shifts are available: 10:30am to 2pm and 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

Please note that all bike recipients have been pre-registered through numerous bike distribution partners so this event is not open to the public. Used bike sales will begin on April 8th.
