Bikes for Kids Wisconsin: Bike Donation Drives 2026

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin is hosting TWO bike drives – 9/26 & 10/17 from 10am-2pm at the Bikes For Kids Wisconsin Bike Center, 354 Coyier Ln., Madison. Donate unwanted bikes of any size or style. They serve both children and adults so any size is happily received. This is a drive up donation event where volunteers will help you unload bikes and parts from your car.

While they prefer gently used bikes, bikes of all condition are accepted. For bikes that are beyond their useful life, they suggest a $20 donation to help process the bike so it can be recycled. Bikes that are more than 50 years old usually cannot be saved unless they are collector bikes. For example, that 1964 Schwinn Traveler you rode in college may have deep sentimental value but we cannot buy parts for them. They do sell them as garden bikes for $25 each but they don’t hold much material value today despite their physical beauty. Feel free to donate them but know that they may have to recycle them.
