Advocacy Update Series – April 2025

The DMI Advocacy Update Series provides members and the greater community an opportunity to learn about DMI’s advocacy work, initiatives, and priorities and get a deep dive into some of the most pressing issues impacting downtown Madison.

For this edition of the series, Jason Ilstrup, DMI President highlights some of the latest in DMI advocacy news followed by a conversation with special guests, Jason Beloungy, Executive Director, and Carly Major, Accessibility Services Specialist at Access to Independence, and Helen Osborn-Senatus, Director of Operations, and Rebecca Bolton, Communications Manager at The River Food Pantry.  The discussion featured an accessibility services project that was done in partnership between Access to Independence and DMI.
