Graphic Download

Download a graphic that can be used with the “General” posts and enewsletters.

In order to make social media posts and enewsletters more accessible for people using screen readers, remember to include alt text for the image. Alt text is a description of what is happening in photos or graphics.

Additionally, on social media platforms with large character limits you can add an image description to your post copy or first comment/reply. This is not only easy for screen readers, but also informs those not using screen readers that you are tailoring content for accessibility. Image descriptions can be more detailed to better illustrate what’s happening in an image.

Here is recommended alt text:

A photo collage that includes photos of a woman in a mobility device, a woman using a cane, a waitress, and a woman with a service dog. A circle in the middle says Accessible Outdoor Dining in Madison.
