Access to Independence is excited to announce the return of the Adaptive Gaming Expo — a free event celebrating diversity and disability inclusion in gaming! Join them on August 22nd at 10am at the Madison Youth Arts Center, 1055 E. Mifflin St., Madison, WI 53703, 4th Floor for a fun, free, and inclusive gaming experience where players of all abilities can connect and play!
Adaptive gaming uses customized controllers and assistive technology to make video games accessible for people with disabilities. At this event, you’ll have the chance to try adaptive equipment, explore new technology, and see how gaming can be made accessible for everyone.
At the event:
-Try adaptive gaming equipment
-Play video, computer, and board games in an inclusive environment
-Learn about accessibility and assistive technology
-Visit a variety of vendors selling gaming-related items
