2019 State of the Downtown

On Friday, September 27th, over 300 people gathered at the Overture Center for the Arts for the 2019 State of the Downtown! The event featured the release of the 9th annual State of the Downtown metrics report, remarks from City of Madison Mayor, Satya Rhodes-Conway, and a panel discussion on major issues and opportunities facing our downtown with panelists: Deb Archer, President & CEO of Destination Madison; Tom Lynch, Director of Transportation for the City of Madison; Anne Neujahr Morrison, Shareholder at Urban Land Interests and Principal at New Year Investments; and Angela Russell, Vice President, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at CUNA Mutual Group.
