11th Annual Reading Between the Wines

Join the Literacy Network on May 6th from 5:30-6:15pm for their Reading Between the Wines event. This virtual event celebrates adult learners’ inspiring stories of their journeys to achieve their dreams and reach their goals, such as becoming U.S. citizens, earning their GED or HSED, securing jobs and improved job opportunities, and supporting their children’s health needs and education.

Event features:
– Guest Speaker, Doug Moe, award-winning author, lifelong Madisonian, journalist, story-teller
– Emcee Jeanan Yasiri Moe, engagement strategist, facilitator, collaborator, educator
– Adult Learners, current students read from their personal writings on “My Journey of Hope”
– Altrusa Scholarship Recipients Announced
– Citizenship Program Highlights
