Overview:
All DMI members are welcome to join us for a special “What’s Up Downtown” featuring the release of the 2022 State of the Downtown report! The event will include remarks by City of Madison Mayor, Satya Rhodes-Conway followed by an informative panel discussion on major issues and opportunities facing downtown Madison. The panel will include:
- Chris McIntosh, Director of Athletics, Wisconsin Athletics
- Anne Neujahr Morrison, Shareholder, Urban Land Interests and Principal, New Year Investments
- Mark Richardson, President/Founder, Unfinished Business LLC
- Ellie Westman Chin, President & CEO, Destination Madison
- Moderated by: Jason Ilstrup, President, Downtown Madison, Inc.

COVID Protocols:
DMI is no longer requiring full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend in-person events, but still encourage all attendees and members to get fully vaccinated and boosted and follow CDC guidelines. Masks are also optional and welcome at this event. Individuals experiencing symptoms of sickness are asked to please not attend in-person.
IN-PERSON EVENT PARKING & TRANSPORTATION:
Pay upon entry parking (cash-only) will be available on-site for $5.00/vehicle. To make entry and exit to the garage efficient, please bring cash. If the garage fills, additional parking is located in the City of Madison State Street Capitol garage located at 214 N. Carroll St. and standard parking rates apply. A limited amount of street parking may also be available. Metro Transit, Madison BCycle, and bicycle transportation are options as well.
