DMI and Milwaukee Downtown are excited to present a virtual event series, The Madison + Milwaukee Downtown Exchange. For this series, speakers from the two cities share ideas on how the regions can work together for greater collaboration, growth, and investment.

TOPIC:

Public Space Management Organizations (PSMOs)

This unique panel discussion will feature leaders of public space management organizations from around the country sharing their insights on issues related to public spaces and the entities managing those spaces.

With a guest facilitator, come listen to a dynamic discussion on how these public space managers continue to grow, adapt, and respond to the ever evolving needs for Downtown public gathering spaces and their individual challenges. Representing different sizes, organizational models, and locations, the conversation will cover partner relations, funding diversity, successful management strategies, and organizational accountability and performance indicators. The virtual event is open to all and is conducted in conjunction with Milwaukee Downtown’s work with MIG, Inc. to explore the creation of a public space management organization.
