KJWW Engineering Consultants in Madison is now IMEG Corp. The name change follows a 2015 merger of KJWW and California-based TTG Engineers, at which time IMEG Corp. was formed. Both firms and their subsidiaries are now doing business as IMEG at their more than 30 locations worldwide. IMEG is one of the largest engineering consulting firms in the U.S. specializing in high performing building systems, infrastructure, and construction-related services. The firm employs 1,000 personnel, including 36 at the Madison office. IMEG CEO and President Paul VanDuyne said the name change is a natural progression and the final step in the integration of the two firms, a process that has retained all offices and personnel.

Old National Bank is sponsoring a $45,000 cash giveaway to benefit local nonprofit organizations. The winners will be chosen by the community. $1,000 will be given to the charitable organization receiving the most votes at each participating banking center or online. There are 45 banking center locations in Wisconsin. Winners must be non-profit organizations with a 501(c)(3) legal tax exemption status. Mark your calenders for the Grand Opening of the Porchlight Thierer Road Campus on Tuesday, May 9th at 11am. The campus has 28 new efficiency apartments for veterans and homeless persons with disabilities, maintenence and warehose facilites, an expanded commercial kitchen for Porchlight Products and the MUM Just Bakery program. MadREP and the Urban League of Greater Madison will host our fourth annual joint Summit on May 11 for Madison Region business and community leaders focused on economic development and diversity. The day-long Summit will engage, educate, and empower attendees around issues related to economic, workforce, and community development. As part of Brat Fest, come check out a new ride for Sunday, May 21st to kick the Fest! The ride will benefit the Badger Honor Flight; Capital Brewery and the Saris Cycling Group are teaming up with Brat Fest to sponsor a ride through the rolling hills of Madison’s West side. The Badger Honor Flight is a regional affiliate of the national Honor Flight Network. The purpose of the Honor Flight Network is to ensure that WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and terminally ill veterans from any war have the opportunity to see the memorials that have been erected in their honor. NGL VP Marketing Services, Jill Muenich was recently appointed to the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) Educational Foundation Board of Trustees. The purpose of the ICCFA Educational Foundation is to support the association’s educational programs through scholarships. Muenich brings more than 25 years of experience in both the insurance and marketing industries.
